“Preparation is key.” This statement is the foundation of our new generator program. Though your cooperative works hard to prevent power outages, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans—that’s why we’re introducing our new Pilot Generator Program in partnership with Generac.

While there are many generator options, the co-op is currently offering a 22KW whole-home unit. This unit is large enough to power a standard home and offers these features:

• A 200-amp service rated smart switch, which gives you the peace of mind for having power throughout the entire house during an outage. This switch allows the generator to kick on within seconds (normally 8 to 10 seconds) of
an outage from the grid.

• The sound attenuated enclosure allows for noise reduction.

• A direct-to-dirt composite mounting pad is included for the generator to be mounted on the pad.

• Fueled with natural gas or propane.

•A five-year warranty, with some stipulations, covers parts, labor and service up to five years or 2,000 hours, whichever occurs first.

•Installation can be as close as 18 inches of a building.
