  • Rate Schedule Residential Service

    AVAILABILITY Available in all territory served by Central Alabama Electric Cooperative, subject to the Cooperative’s established Service Rules and Regulations.

    APPLICABILITY Applicable only for residential use and for use incidental thereto on a permanent year-around basis, supplied through one meter to each individual residence.

    TYPE OF SERVICE Alternating current at approximately 60 cycles per second, 120/240 volts.

    DAILY RATE

    Daily Access Charge (no kWh included)
    $1.94/day
    Plus:
    Distribution Charge/kWh of:
    $0.01734/kWh
    Wholesale Power Cost of:
    $0.09647/kWh

    MINIMUM CHARGE The minimum daily charge shall be $1.94 for single-phase service.

    SINGLE POINT DELIVERY The above rates are based upon the supply of service to the entire premises through a single delivery and metering point, at one voltage. Separate supply for the same Member at other points of consumption or at a different voltage shall be separately metered and billed. Service under this classification is subject to Service Rules and Regulations of the Cooperative.

    POWER COST ADJUSTMENT The Energy Charge contained in this rate may be increased or decreased by an increase or decrease in wholesale power cost, operational costs or sales volume experienced by the cooperative during term of agreement. The Board of Trustees may increase or decrease the monthly adjustment as it deems necessary to maintain the financial stability and integrity of the Cooperative.

     

  • Rate Schedule Small Power Service

    AVAILABILITY Available in all territory served by the Cooperative, subject to the Cooperative’s established Service Rules and Regulations.

    APPLICABILITY Applicable to non-residential services less than 10kW and less than 1,500 kWh per month.

    TYPE OF SERVICE Alternating current, single phase, 120/240V, approximately 60 cycles, at Cooperative standard secondary voltage. Maximum motor capacity will be ten horsepower (10HP).

    $1.51/day
    Plus:
    Distribution Charge/kWh of: $0.05609/kWh
    Wholesale Power Cost of: $0.08287/kWh

    MINIMUM CHARGE The minimum daily charge shall be $1.51 for single-phase service.

    APPLICABILITY Applicable to consumers, for dusk to dawn outdoor lighting.

    TYPE OF SERVICE Alternating current at approximately 60 cycles, 120/240 volts.

    Additional Poles: Any requirement for more than two poles will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis according to the size of the pole.

    CHARGES If a Member or developer requests underground facilities or decorative lighting, an additional charge will be required. If additional facilities, such as transformers or additional poles are needed, an additional charge will be required. See Line Extension Calculations.

    CONDITIONS OF SERVICE The Cooperative shall furnish, install, operate and maintain the security lighting equipment, including lamps, luminaries, bracket attachment and control device on an existing pole or one added pole of the Cooperative. Security lights shall be electrically connected to Cooperative poles so that the power for operation of the light does not pass through the meter for the Member’s other usage. Security lights shall be attached only to Cooperative poles, at a location mutually agreeable to both the Cooperative and the Member. The Cooperative shall furnish and install a second wooden pole if required, for which the Member shall pay the Cooperative the monthly rate charge as specified above.

    The Cooperative shall maintain the lighting equipment, including lamp replacement, at no additional cost to the Member. The lighting equipment shall remain the property of the Cooperative. The Member shall protect the lighting equipment from deliberate damage.

    TERMS OF PAYMENT Bills are due when rendered and are payable prior to delinquent date of bill. If any bill is not so paid, the Cooperative has the right to suspend service in accordance with its established Service Rules and Regulations.

    AVAILABILITY Available in all territory served by the Cooperative, subject to the Cooperative’s established Service Rules and Regulations.

    APPLICABILITY Applicable to all non-residential single phase services up to 400 amps.

    TYPE OF SERVICE Alternating current, single phase, 120/240V, approximately 60 cycles, at Cooperative standard secondary voltage. Maximum motor capacity will be ten horsepower (10HP).

    DAILY RATE

    Daily Access Charge (no kWh included) $1.94/day
    Plus:
    Distribution Charge/kWh of: $0.03945/kWh
    Wholesale Power Cost of:
    $0.07702/kWh

    MINIMUM CHARGE The minimum daily charge shall be $1.94 for single-phase service.

    BILL PAY SCHEDULE The Cooperative standard billing and payment schedule of all consumers billed under the incorporated rate shall apply to contracts, and no provision shall be incorporated in a contract that has conflicting provisions.
