CAEC Lineman Scholarship Fund

3rd Annual Benefit Fishing Tournament

On September 28, 2024, CAEC and Central Access will host the 3rd annual benefit fishing tournament to raise monies for the Lineman Scholarship Fund. Last year, with the support of our generous sponsors, we were able to raise over $11,000 for the scholarship fund. Your support of this event ensures CAEC can continue to award the scholarship to deserving individuals pursuing careers as line workers.

If you would like to be a sponsor for this year’s tournament, please return your completed sponsorship commitment by June 28, 2024. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call Rebecca Little at (334) 351-2131 or Haley Leswick at (334) 351-2194.

To help those who are wanting to take this career path, Central Alabama Electric Cooperative has established the CAEC Lineman Scholarship for persons who are seeking training to become an electrical line worker and meet the eligibility requirements. One award of up to $5,000 will be made annually.
