Board Leadership Certificate (BLC) :

This curriculum extends the core CCD program, providing greater depth of industry, governance, risk management, are making, and policy development. More than 62 percent of eligible directors has earned CCD credentials while just over 25 percent have obtained BLC distinction. The BLC is achieved after completion of 10 of the 20 courses offered in the following areas:

• Power supply issues
• Bylaws and governance
• Ethics
• Risk management
• Appraising and compensating the CEO
• Crisis management
