Did you know autism affects 1 in 68 children and is one of the fastest growing developmental disorders in the United States? Central Alabama Electric Cooperative’s employees are raising funds and awareness for autism in April for Autism Awareness Month. All proceeds from this campaign will be donated to local school systems in CAEC’s service territory to better equip their autistic and special needs programs–benefiting local students.

There are several ways you can help! Special, limited edition CAEC Cares T-shirts ($15) and tumblers ($5) are available for purchase at any of our service centers. Additionally, Halo Branded Solutions has donated a deluxe spectator chair (retail for $130 value), a portable blanket and a high quality cooler tote that will be raffled off. Tickets are only $1 and are also available for purchase at our offices.
